Benny Gantz resigns from Israel’s war cabinet


Centrist politician Benny Gantz resigned from Israel’s war cabinet, leaving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu more reliant on far-right allies.

The Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting in Israel, so Sara Khairat is in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the latest developments. Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane is in Washington, DC for US reaction to this.
