Anti-semitism: Israel's Narrative of Endless Cycle of War

Despite killing nearly 40,000 Palestinians, Israel justifies its war on Gaza as self-defence. It describes critics - including the International Criminal Court - as anti-semitic. 

So what drives these narratives? And do they help sustain a continuous cycle of violence against the Palestinian people?
