Jacob, driven by curiosity and a desire to bring his brother back to Christianity, started studying Islam himself. His studies, which he initially undertook with the intention of refuting the religion, gradually softened his heart, especially during his deployment in Iraq where he experienced several life-threatening situations.

These moments, coupled with the peace he found while secretly listening to the Quran, led him to explore Islam more deeply. After returning from Iraq, he felt a strong urge to read the Quran, which ultimately convinced him of its truth and led him to embrace Islam after years of internal struggle and reflection.
