Why Do Muslims Hate America? The Answer May Surprise You
Before you pose the question to America again, "Why do Muslims hate America?" take it from this retired veteran: the short answer is that they do not! They do resent what you did and hate U.S. bias and its misguided foreign policy.
In the event you have forgotten what you have done to Palestinians and the rest of the Muslim world since you became President for the first time in 2017, you should ask yourself, "What have I done for Muslims to have them resent me and America?"
And since we say in Arabic, "A camel does not see his hump," allow me to tell you all about your misdeeds since I kept a tally sheet. Please read:
Key Missteps in U.S. Foreign Policy Toward the Muslim World
- Muslim Ban: The first executive order you issued in 2017 when you took office the first time was a call for a “total and complete ban on Muslims entering the U.S.”
- Jerusalem Embassy Move: You moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, thereby violating U.S. and international laws. You recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This was a betrayal of the Palestinian dream.
- Annexation of Golan Heights: You gave Israel the green light to annex the occupied Golan Heights and officially recognized the Golan Heights as being under the sovereignty of Israel.
- Cutting Aid to Palestinians: You cut off ALL $390 million in U.S. annual aid to Palestinians.
- PLO Office Closure: You closed the PLO office in Washington, D.C.
- Anti-Muslim Policies and Rhetoric: You even suggested in 2016 that American Muslims be required to register in a database. You called for all mosques in the U.S. to be put under surveillance or completely shut down.
Military Aggressions
April 2017 Air Strikes in Syria
You bragged to Fox News about issuing air strikes against Syria while you were having cheesecake with Chinese leader Xi Jinping at your Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. A total of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched from the Mediterranean Sea into Syria.
January 2020 Assassination of Gen. Soleimani
Upon the urging of Crime Minister Netanyahu, you ordered the drone strike that killed Gen. Soleimani near Baghdad International Airport along with four Iranian and five Iraqi nationals. After you left office, you confessed to doing it upon the request of the Israeli leader, and you then called him an ungrateful S.O.B.
Billionaire Influence in U.S. Policy
Billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson donated $40 million to your campaign to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This is the same Adelson who once stated, "I wish that I had served in the Israeli army instead of the U.S. military," and wanted his son to grow up to “be a sniper in the IOF.”
Now, the news is circulating that his widow, Mariam Adelson (who is a U.S.-Israeli citizen), has offered your campaign $100 million if you can promise to let Israel annex the West Bank. If it is true, please don't betray the Palestinians again because Palestine is not yours to give away. So, please don't be too generous to Israel at the expense of Palestinian suffering.
On the Current War
By the way, the Lebanese and Palestinians don't want you to just end the war like you recently stated. They want you to STOP the war. After all, telling Netanyahu to end the war means doing it quickly and getting it over with, no matter how many lives are lost. Ending the war means to stop immediately.
A Bold Proposal for Peace
If you are really interested in the near future of finding a just and lasting peace for the Israel-Palestinian conflict, may I suggest relocating Israel to the United States?
Why?
- Americans will welcome Israelis with open arms into their homes.
- America has plenty of land to accommodate 6.9 million Israeli Jews.
- Israel can have a really safe Jewish state surrounded by friendly states.
- U.S. taxpayers will no longer have to pay Israel $3.8 billion until Doomsday.
- Palestinians will finally get their land and freedom back.
- The Middle East will again be peaceful and free from foreign interference.
- Oil prices will go down. Inflation will go down. The whole world will be happy.
- You will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
- Above all, no one in the Middle East will burn the old glory or chant "Death to America."
If you are truly interested in repairing America's relationship with the Muslim world, you must reflect on your actions and policies. Respect and fairness—not biased agendas—are the keys to peace.
