Families of Syrian detainees seek missing relatives at notorious 'slaughterhouse'


This video highlights the painful search of Syrian families for their loved ones, many of whom have been detained in government-run prisons for years.

As the Syrian regime releases prisoners, including from the notorious Sanaa prison, families gather in hope of reuniting with their missing relatives. Some find hope, while others face tragic realizations about their loved ones’ fate.

The video also exposes the horrifying conditions prisoners endured and the ongoing agony of families caught in the aftermath of the brutal conflict.
