Laylatul Qadr, also known as The Night of Power, is one of the most special nights in Ramadan. It is the night when Allah sent down the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel).

🌙 When Does Laylatul Qadr Happen?

Laylatul Qadr falls in the last ten nights of Ramadan, but no one knows the exact night! The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ told us to look for it on the odd nights (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, or 29th). Many Muslims believe it is most likely on the 27th night, but it could be any of these blessed nights.

✨ Why is Laylatul Qadr So Special?

  1. Better than 1,000 months – Worship on this night is worth more than a thousand months! (Quran 97:3)

  2. Angels come down – The night is filled with peace and blessings as angels descend.

  3. Duas are accepted – Allah is extra merciful on this night, so Muslims ask for forgiveness and pray for their wishes to come true.

  4. Destiny is written – It is believed that on this night, Allah decides what will happen in the coming year.

🕌 What Do Muslims Do on Laylatul Qadr?

  • Pray extra Salah (Namaz), especially Tahajjud (late-night prayer).

  • Read Quran to get closer to Allah.

  • Make lots of dua – Asking for forgiveness, good health, and Jannah (Paradise).

  • Give charity – Helping others bring extra rewards!
