He Has Always Been Kind

By: Rabiah Tul Adawiyah   May 12, 2025

From the moment He formed me, unseen and small,

In the stillness of the womb, He was guiding it all.

Each breath, each beat of my chest,

He was there, shaping, doing all the rest.

When joy wrapped me warm and trials drew near,

When silence was heavy and no one could hear,

He was always there, closer than breath,

Watching with mercy, guarding each step.

They see the calm, the strength I show,

But only He knows the depths below.

They see the warmth, the light in my eyes,

But only He knows the aches and the sighs.

Yet my heart speaks clearly, without a doubt,

He's always been kind; I'll never be without.

Through every turn, through rise and fall,

He has been the One behind it all.

So I walk not in fear.

The One who shaped me still holds my soul.

He gave me clarity, He gave me peace,

And guided my journey in grace.

And if ever I falter, unsure how to cope,

I remember His mercy is larger than my hope.

So I rise and continue, not because I am whole,

But because His kindness carries my soul.
