IslamiCity DDoS Attack - Standing Strong Together

On Friday, August 15, 2025, the IslamiCity website experienced a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. This type of assault floods servers with fake traffic, disrupting access for genuine visitors. Our tech team has been working around the clock to mitigate the attack. While most services have been restored, occasional disruptions may continue.

Even under this attack, all our data remains completely secure.

Why is IslamiCity being targeted?

We cannot say with certainty. But what we do know is this: IslamiCity has always stood for truth, compassion, and justice. In recent months, we have amplified voices for peace and raised awareness about the suffering in Gaza. As part of this effort, IslamiCity is exclusively promoting the award-winning documentary The Evidence, which exposes war crimes being committed there.

At the same time, Muslims in the U.S. and worldwide are facing a rise in Islamophobia. These realities make it clear that our platform is being targeted because of the values we uphold and the truths we refuse to silence.

For nearly 30 years, IslamiCity has been a source of authentic Islamic guidance and a bridge of understanding between people. Attacks like these only strengthen our resolve to continue our mission of spreading knowledge, compassion, and justice.
