From acclaimed director Kaouther Ben Hania, Oscar® nominee The Voice of Hind Rajab marks a defining and devastating moment in Palestinian history. Using real-life audio recordings from the Palestine Red Crescent Society, the film recounts the true story of the day five-year-old Hind Rajab was martyred in Gaza.
As director Kaouther Ben Hania said, ""...I hope that American audiences will watch it, and also do something about it. Because it's not a movie where one can say, 'Enjoy it, and go home!'" With Ramadan drawing to a close, we are called to reflect on our humanity, and - in doing so - strengthen our connection with Allah SWT through acts of service and charity.
This Eid, in place of traditional gifting, we invite you to give The Voice of Hind Rajab to someone who needs to see it: whether that be a loved one, a neighbor, or a colleague. In doing so, you're helping ensure Hind's voice lives on, touching all who choose to listen. Paired with an official discussion guide (developed in partnership with the People's Center for Palestine), the film opens doors to engage in thoughtful reflection before and after watching.

As we bear witness to the immense suffering in Palestine, it's easy to fall into feelings of powerlessness and despondence. In the wake of such devastation, we must remind ourselves that no act of solidarity is too big or small. It is our duty to make Hind's voice heard far and wide, and to continue honoring her legacy in every way we can. By sharing her story, you are not only delivering a meaningful Eid gift, but a powerful ripple effect - one that invites others to stay aware and informed. Our awareness is our greatest form of resistance, and one we must not lose sight of, despite external attempts at distraction.
