This khutbah was given on April 22 2016 at Al-Islam Masjid. Surat Al-Israa tells the story of Al-Isra’ wal Miraj, when Allah took Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) overnight from Mecca to Jerusalem then to heaven. The event tested the faith of Muslims as they faced increasing hardships in Mecca, and was a premonition of their migration to Madina. Nouman Ali Khan focuses on verse 80, a beautiful supplication that helps believers through difficult times. It is a prayer for confidence, clarity, sincerity and truth.
