The cosmos was fashioned from a light
No eye could withstand something so bright
It was an expression of Divine Grace
Two lovers yet to embrace
For all realms, a symbol of mercy
Among all creations, the most worthy
Greater than the sun, yet but a flame
Given the most beautiful name
As a child, he played with the moon
The planets danced to his tune
A face resplendent with celestial glow
A radiance only God could bestow
Whether the head, the toe, or the heart
Divinity manifested from the start
For all giants, the ultimate guide
By his noble ethos, they all abide
Scholars and saints alike follow his way
And darkness turns to day
Without dominance, he brought peace
With his remembrance, blessings increase
His sweat was gathered as a perfume
His smile was a rose in bloom
Even his companion was a star
To guide your journey afar
His presence alone was a sight
His proximity, a world of delight
Even sinners found him near
He was the criterion so clear
He was a king who sought no crown
No care for pride, lust, or renown
His deeds revolved around love
His thought was revealed from above
In servitude, he left no trace
From none did he turn away his face
In his arms, all felt secure
In a fallen society, he remained pure
His days were filled with words of gold
His nights with secrets untold
His consciousness was a divine stream
In God's remembrance even in a dream
With his feet on earth, his spirit in the skies
Asleep or awake, it would rise, rise, and rise
His gnosis, a sea without a shore
His persona and reality, both we adore
He is the sun; every saint, his ray
His message alone, they all convey
He is the universe's soul
Through him, all parts become whole
He held virtue above his esteem
Every act, a permeating beam
Every expression, an epitome of truth
The greatest master for elders and youth
A spark without his ignition
Cannot attain an exalted station
His will preceded every decree
His wisdom, only the inner eye can see
Without his mention, no prayer has a call
In history, none has ever stood so tall
Belief without him isn't faith
It is a life without breath
He alone is every saint's fire
Love for him extinguishes each desire
His advent was time's spring
His voice made David sing
Knowledge is a night without his morn
Success is a dusk without his dawn
Lovers grow intoxicated by his wine
He separates the mundane from the divine
He was the city, with Ali the gate
For him, God's consent would wait
Every prostration is his deed
Without him, one can't sow a seed
He is eternity upon earth
Without him, none has worth
Shariah needs his nod or smile
Without him, every path is vile
Indifferent to kingdoms, he is a king
In every flight, he is the wing
Upon every mountain, he is the climb
He renders art and literature sublime
Deeds without his stamp aren't blessed
A journey without him isn't a quest
In the chirping birds, listen to his voice
There's no merriment if he doesn't rejoice
None has been granted greater praise
None possesses a stature so raised
For victims, he is the uplift
His glimpse is the greatest gift
No woman saw a husband with greater charm
No man saw a companion so warm
For every alma mater, he is the seed
For every curriculum, he is the need
His presence is felt in every place
He isn't bound by time and space
When you send salutations upon his name
He becomes your candle and flame
His insight is our treasure
It transforms us beyond measure
In adversity, he is the hope
For unity, he is the rope
The more you climb his mountain
The more you drink from his fountain
There is no limit to how much you revere
When you do so, God will always cheer
His story inspires you when you are down
He is an ocean, no matter how much you drown
With humility, his speech was tender
For his companions, he was a splendor
The dictionary needs him to define righteousness
The sun needs him to exhibit brightness
In a dark age, he espoused women's honor
In that era, his principles were a wonder
Not an iota of effort for self-glory
No struggle to highlight his own story
His offenders received only compassion
No place for revenge in his mission
Surah Yasin is beautiful because he recited it
Surah Rahman heals because he prescribed it
His remembrance lightens the burdens we bear
His shadow enlightens the vision we share
His conduct is life's physics
His inner self is the metaphysics
His remembrance enlivens a congregation
His companionship is the highest heaven

O Muhammad ď·ş, I praise you in accordance with my own insignificance
It isn't worthy of your intercession
Yet it is my only possession
Lovers have written far better odes than this
But if you accept it, it is the highest bliss
Your acknowledgment is the only test
Your consent is the ultimate conquest
None can dare to be just while praising you
When God Himself sends salutations upon you
You are the secret behind His grand plan
You are the reason why He created man!
