A W E S O M E ! In my heart, I was made proud by the effort. It must continue, not only during Ramadan, but at all times of the year and, not only Muslims feeding the needy, but every single religion must take a stand to end hunger for so many people in need. Allah Akbar.

I think this was a wonderful initiative. It's so great to see such events where it is clear that the muslim community is helping the less fortunate. What a great feat of charity. I pray that people will visit this site and see this article. Every action that a muslim performs, such as this event, shows Islam at work. It's a shinin example.

Keep up islamicity, i wish i could do more to help with pledges, which I like to call 'material support' but i will keep up the dua, from seeing and reading the website i can see and feel some of it is accepted, allahu akbar, wassalamu alaykum.

The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said that "the
hand above is better than the hand below" (the hand
that is giving is better than the one receiving). We can
all learn a valuable lesson from these brothers and
sisters- to give goodness to all, this was indeed the
message of Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam)
Was-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah.

This is an effort that must be commended by all. This shows that we Moslems are interested in the welfare of our fellow human beings, even if they don't share our religious views. We must do most of these all accross America to show that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. That Islam is a religion of love, and not terror.

This act of kindness to our neighbors shows a beautiful picture of our religion as opposed to the ugly image most people have of it as a result of the ugly actions of the militants who are harming people in the name of our religion. It's about time that we stand up strong to rescue the religion from the manupulation of the political militants who are using it to advance their quest for political power.

Instead of supporting the bombing of the world trade center, Ben Laden and his followers should have built powerful radio and tv stations that would send out islamic message 24/7 all accross the world. The world needs to be informed or educated about this glorious religion. When people are provided the necessary information about Islam, they will embrace it in their millions. But each time these hot heads carry out bombing and destruction of human lives, it sends a negative message about our religion, which is not fair.

this is the true face of islam that the media will never report.

I guess feeding the homeless wasnt as newsworthy as the bloodthirsty impatience for war in Iraq by our great drmocratic FREE press.

I am very proud of the actions done in southern California. Everything done puts a beautiful image of Islam in the minds of those people, and mashAllah they'll never forget it for the rest of their lives. Even with the attacks on this religion of Truth, Islam always shines through as the Most Noble. Keep it up. We are all proud of you.

They are to be commended for their effort mashallah.It is great for muslims to be observed as members of the community and as humanitarians,however,I see in some photos,drug dealers and the like( we see them everyday in our work in downtown L.A),just there to get what they can and Im concerned that many muslims are suffering in the world and the poor in the USA are considered rich in other parts of the world.Face it,our animals live better than many humans.My concern is not to divert our efforts away from those truly in our need,after all we should want for our brothers what we want for ourselves.

Alhamdulillah, this is truly an example of our ummah being a mercy to human kind. Speaking with our actions is far more better than constantly being on the defensive, using words to fight back attacks against Islam.
