Take This My Son

My Son, I want to give you the best...
Like every other mom, cheerful surroundings n a cozy nest...
But somehow, life has put us to a test,
I promise that I will still try to give you the best.

Darling, you are the smile I put up all through the day,
You are the reason to thank HIM in all the prayers I say.
Yours is the image I wishfully create when dreams make their way
To keep you smiling always any price I would pay..

Sweetheart, life has but taught me a wonderful lesson
Which carefully and in time for you I want to pen..
The lesson of forgetfulness we do not know when
We do forget that the sun might not rise again!

Learn from Noah, my son to build a far-sighted ark
Learn from Ibraheem to put the trust in Allah in darkness stark!
Learn from Moosa that the truthful never walk back
Learn from Isa that the miracles of Allah sometimes do shock!

Send blessings upon them when you hear each name,
And learn from the man who never lived for fame!
Who lived all his life playing the toughest game
Of putting all the humanity in a single frame!

That man was Muhammed, peace be upon our beloved!
Who was sent for everything alive, everything ever created
His life is an example for you, his Sunnahs are to be revived!
Love for him and for the way he lived, by a true believer should be proved!

My son, I would give you all I have and even more, thats a promise for sure,
But along with it, if you do not take this, you will be the poorest of the poor!
Take this advice to just know not the religion, but always be on the floor!
Only this can guide you towards the most beautiful destination's door!
