We often argue about religion, but how are our arguments resolved? In this video, Pulitzer-prize winning author Jack Miles discusses three common ways in which arguments are typically resolved and proposes a fourth way to argue about religion and never lose—and to do so without abandoning our beliefs and convictions.

Jack Miles is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of English and Religious Studies at the University of California, Irvine. His book God: A Biography won a Pulitzer Prize in 1996.
