An aphorism is a concise statement or phrase that expresses a general truth or moral principle. It is a short and often memorable saying that encapsulates a piece of wisdom, insight, or observation about life, human nature, or the world in general.

Following are a few Quranic aphorisms for reflection and guidance:

  1. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah... (Quran 37:35)
  2. There is nothing like God (Quran 42:11)
  3. ..God created man in the finest state.. (Quran 95:4)
  4. There shall be no compulsion in religion... (Quran 2:256)
  5. God is enough for us, and He is the best protector.. (Quran 3:173)
  6. God! Increase me in knowledge. (Quran 20:114)
  7. God is nearer to him than his jugular vein". (Quran 50:16)
  8. ..man will only have what he has worked towards (Quran 53:39)
  9. God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves. (Quran 13:11)
  10. They planned, and God planned, but God is the Best of planners. (Quran 3:54)
  11. ..do not despair of God’s mercy.. (Quran 39:53)
  12. Everyone shall taste death .. (Quran 3:185)
  13. To God, we belong, and to Him, we are to return. (Quran 2:156)
