Pressure has been mounting on police to ban a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London from happening on Armistice Day this Saturday, 11 November 2023.

The Public Order Act allows the head of the Metropolitan Police to ask the home secretary's permission to ban or impose conditions on protests.
