"Despite the siege, malnutrition at the beginning of Ramadan, and the famine in northern Gaza, our children have been unable to find anything to eat until now. There is no food, no drinking water and no flour. All these children need nutrition, financial, and humanitarian support. We call on all Arab countries and all mindful people—presidents, officials, and anyone with a human conscience—to care for these children in regard to starvation and famine. We don’t have anything to eat."

SUMMARY:
Starving Palestinians in northern Gaza, mostly children, queued to fill their pots at a makeshift kitchen set up by volunteers on the first day of Ramadan in the Jabaliya refugee camp.
Using large pots over wood fires, volunteers prepared carrots and sweet potatoes.
There was no meat or chicken.
Many in the isolated northern Gaza region have resorted to eating animal feed.
Adults eat one meal a day to save whatever food they have for their starving children.
"Our children have been unable to find anything to eat until now. There is no food, no drinking water and no flour. All these children need nutrition," said Bassam al-Haw, one of the volunteers in charge of the kitchen.
He appealed to the international community to intervene and send food assistance to the starving people in northern Gaza.
Israel declared war on Oct. 7, after Hamas militants attacked southern Israel, killing 1,200 and taking about 250 hostage.
More than 31,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 70,000 wounded in Israel’s war on Hamas since then, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
