New York Activists March Against Trump and Harris

“I don’t know how anybody can live with that.” Three days out from a divisive US election, hundreds marched through New York City calling for a boycott of both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump over their support for Israel’s war in Gaza.

The rally, organised by Pro-Palestine activists, comes amid growing calls for the Joe Biden administration to impose an embargo on Israel’s and to call for an immediate ceasefire. More than 42,000 Palestinians have been killed over the last year, with the US supplying more than $20 billion worth of military equipment, including bombs, despite mounting accusations of war crimes being committed by Israel’s military.

Both Trump and Harris have pledged support for Israel’s war, while vowing to work to bring about a ceasefire. Despite softening her stance on the suffering of Palestinians, Harris has rejected pressure to push for an arms embargo.
