Liberals Blame Arab Americans for Trump's Victory

Raja Abdulhaq, a Palestinian political organizer and researcher, talks about how liberals in the United States took to social media to criticize American Muslims, Arabs, and Latinos for not fully supporting Vice President Kamala Harris once early election results indicated a clear victory for former President Donald Trump, instead of reflecting on why Harris lost to a candidate as contentious as Trump.

Abdulhaq noted that the Democratic Party showed little interest in addressing concerns over the Gaza genocide, assuming instead that Arab and Muslim voters in the US would inevitably vote for Harris.

He argues that if Democrats truly valued Arab and Muslim communities, rather than seeing them as guaranteed votes, they would have at least shown more empathy towards their protests, instead of dismissively shouting over them - as Harris infamously did with her remark: "I'm speaking."
