Thank you General Clark for such a warm friendly message to the American Muslims. It does my heart good to see an American of high governmental position come forward and recognize the contributions of our fellow American Muslims and to recognize and respect their religious beliefs. As you have said, we are all descendants of Abraham, and we should live in peace and love with one another in our common endeavor to worship and praise God. I think we all should do as God has said in Romans 12:2 which is:
Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds, that ye may know what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Wesly Clark you are a murderer of Muslims. I hope a war criminal like you does not get elected. My Muslim brothers are lost in supporting you. In Bosnia you bombed the Serbs without putting troops on the ground to protect the Muslims. You were told that the genocide going on would be increased against the Muslims if you did not put troops on the ground to protect them. To my Muslim brothers who are thanking you for your sadistic message on Eid I say learn the facts about this man. He is a murderer.

Whoever is the new president in 2004, there is no doubt that Inshallah, he will be much better than Bush. Gen. Clark seems honest and open-minded, without the twisted shrewd nature of veteran politicians. God knows best. It is not about muslims, jews, or christians that one needs to work for. When God places somebody in such an important role, it is important that they work to please God and their conscience for what all religions preach i.e. justice. This justice needs to be without bias towards any citizen, with the hope of pleasing not one group of people, but with the objective of doing what is morally and not politically right. Thanks for your eid greeting and we pray to God to show us the right candidate we can vote for when the day comes.

I hope this e-mail finds you in best of spirit and cicumstances. My self and fellow American Muslims greatly appreciate your comments and Eid Greetings. I have been living in this country for the last 24 years but first time I felt that a fellow American truely understood me and my faith. What you said in the message is very true. We Muslims, Christians and Jews all are the children of Prophet Abraham (Ibraaheem). We need to know, understand and respect each other. We forget that being a human being we are all brothers and sister in humanity. You well said"There are so many similarities and common thing between us than the differences. Allaah (Glory be to Him) ie Almighty God commands we Muslim in our holy book Quraan that we Muslims should talk to christian and Jews in a perticular way. Allaah says "And argue not with the people of scripture (Jews & Christians)unless it be in (a way) that is better words and in a good mannor"
We are advised to come on common things and leave the differences for latter time. I want to make it short.

This is the best Eid Greetings from a Presidential hopeful or a sitting president ever. All the time those are in power wishes us greetings at the same time ask us for something else like fight terrorism or be loyal to the country this is first time a person like Clark reminding us all this three major faiths are from Patriach Abraham/Ibrahim.

This is the message we need most today than ever. We should bridge gaps between our faith with common bonds rather than differences. The God/Allah has mentioned his idea in his books "created many groups and people with differences so we would learn/know each other" is not it wonderful? it was his plan to make us differnece so let it be.

I really and generally support Gen. Clark for the 2004 Presidential race. I'm really undecided between Clark and Dean. Though Dean easily flip flops on the Israeli-Palestinian issue, Clark does not. So I don't know now, though I feel Clark has the best chance of defeating Bush precisely because of his military record and he hails from the south.

So that's my 2 cents. W'salaamAlaikum.

Wes Clark is proving that he is rapidly adopting to the political life. it is nice of him to send greetings to Muslims for Eid. I very much appreciate and thank him for that. but i see some fear in him of alienating himself by sending this Eid greetings. that is the extent to which the media in US has alienated Muslims. so he has added all three Abrahamic faiths probably to dilute the views of those who might be critical of his greetings while voting. but Torah and Bible doesnt exist as it was revealed. it would be brave of him if he read Qur'an and understand what Islam and Muslims stand for. afterall he has been the general of the armed forces which has been attacking, occupying and stealing Muslims lands,wealth and protecting the dictators who bring shame upon the Muslim countries for decades. as much as Muslims should liberate themselves from illiteracy, tribalism, fanaticism etc., the americans should liberate themselves from ignorance, jingoism, arrogance etc. hope this Eid brings upon peace and love throughout Muslim world, without which this planet will be doomed.
