Islamic Quiz Competition (SCMCO)
We are thrilled to inform you that IslamiCity and Southern California Muslim Community Organization (SCMCO) will be hosting jointly a virtual quiz competition.
Saturday, October 17, 2020 | 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time
The competition will be based on the entertaining format of the globally popular quiz game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” This will be a wonderful opportunity for all the participants to test and increase their knowledge of Islam in a fun, engaging manner. The participants will be divided into three different age groups:
1. 12 and under
2. 13 through 17 and
3. 18 and over
Top achievers from each group will receive cash rewards.

10:00 am - 10:15 am
Quran Recitation/Translation and Welcome
10:15 am - 11:00 am
All participants will LOG IN and start playing the quiz. They will play a minimum of 5 games. https://www.islamicity.org/quizgame
While the participants are playing moderators will be displaying a master scoreboard and sharing the progress of the players.
There will also be guest speakers that will be talking about different topics during this time.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The top 3 participants in each category will be announced.
A total of 9 participants will advance to the live game.
An email will be sent to the 9 participants to join Zoom.
Qualifying participants will play live with the moderator.
10 minutes maximum for each game.
1:00 pm
Top winners from each group will be announced.
