Who is it that will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply ˹many times over˺ for them, and they will have an honourable reward?5
Commentary:
5   i.e., Paradise.

A. Yusuf Ali:

Translation:
Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful 5287 loan? for ((Allah)) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward.
Commentary:

5287  Cf. 2:245, n. 276.

Muhammad Asad:

Translation:
WHO IS IT that will offer up unto God a goodly loan, which He will amply repay 11 For, such [as do so] shall have a noble reward
Commentary:
11  See note 234 on the identical phrase in 2:245. In the present instance the meaning is apparently wider, applying to all that man may do selflessly, for the sake of God alone.
