Dr. Mohammad A. Siddiqi has  served as the Dean of Academic and Student Affairs at Northwest Suburban College in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. He is Professor Emeritus of Journalism and Public Relations at Western Illinois University (WIU) where he has taught for 29 years. At WIU he served as the Journalism Program Director and Chair of the Department of English & Journalism.

Dr Siddiqi has authored several books, published more than two dozen articles in refereed publications and conducted media workshops in more than 100 cities in North America and more than 35 countries in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He serves on the editorial advisory boards of the Journal of Arab & Muslim Media Research, U.K., Journal of Media Studies, Pakistan, and the Islamic Horizon magazine.

Dr. Siddiqi was inducted, in 2014, into the Collegium of Interfaith Scholars at Martin Luther King Chapel at Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia. He is among the founding members of the World Council of Muslims for Interfaith Relations (WCMIR) and is currently serving as its treasurer. From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Parliament of the World Religions. Dr. Siddiqi was among the founders the Islamic Center of Macomb and served as its President and Imam of the masjid for more than 20 years. Born in India, Dr. Siddiqi now lives along with his family in Villa Park, Illinois.
