�A�raabs� bringing change Reading Quran

The Saudi Arabian Government Charity as a sacred duty by the King is issueing the copies of Holy Quran not with the vowels or 'a'raab' of the traditional manner. These 'a'raab' modified having a 'zamma(or damma)' on an 'alif' in the place of a silence or where a letter makes no sound and is read linked together. They say that these are for the Arabic speaking people and for the learned 'Qaaris' of the Holy Quran but the copy once published is distributed and can be found in any market and religious school. Though this is a good service to religion but the newly 'a'raab' are gradually changing the manner of reading of the Holy Quran of different folks who take the new 'a'raabs' according to their own manner. For example the most read 'sura'tul Ikhlas' of the last thirtieth section between the first 'ayat' and the second 'Qul howallah ahad - and - Allahussamad' similar sign is made instead of 'fatah' and is made to read now as 'Qul howallahu ahad - nillahussamad' and some read it as 'Qul howallu ahad - lillahussamad' as the correct manner is not marked or defined. This type of making 'a'raab' is affecting the universal and unified manner of reading of the Holy Quran as it is not dedicated to a known section of people or 'Qaaris'.

This is a very serious issue and attention is needed to be paid to it.
