b95000, let me clarify to you that contrary to your beliefs, Iraqis did not invade Americans in Iraq... neither did they bring them there by force. And the murders that their previous leaders inflicted upon them does not give Americans the right to continue murdering them, even if in lesser number. try alot lesser by the way how many times in history has the US acted when mass murder was going on?? everyone dropped the ball in the holocaust.the whole world sat there saying "never again."but apparently no one meant it. lets talk kosovo.the Serbs were exterminating Muslims did Europe act?NO did any Muslim nation act? NO.the US did and we were called aggressors?in fact some Russians were so mad they wanted to go to kosovo to fight the US.why because we stopped an orthodox for killing Muslims?OK how about this.... this ruler of a nation we all know .ignored the treaty that ended the first war.he built his military against the treaty.be ruled with an iron fist killing thousands of own people.anyone with different views was killed.he had no problem invading his neighbors or using chemical weapons in fact his nation had the largest stockpile of any on earth at one time that is.his brutality was well known but many in Europe believed him when he said he didn't want to fight.should America attack? if you said no you said exactly what many in Europe did too.which explains thinks Europeans are slow learners and have really poor memories.the man i was describing was NOT Saddam Hussein.it was Hitler.the Americans remembered Hitler and his brand of evil.we saw it in Saddam.why didn't you?hell you Russians didn't even notice how evil Hitler was until he invaded you.then again no one else did either.but we could see this going on and no one would do anything like it was OK for Saddam to kill those people.now granted Bushes excuse for the war was weak.Saddam needed to be stopped by someone.if bush had not said something about WMDs and cited mass graves instead the whole out look would be different?no because many Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia think it was wrong to a foreign nation to dispose a Muslim ruler.Guess those dead meant nothing to them either.but they were in favor of the US spending hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars like it did through the 90's to protect them from Saddam.they (the Saudis)asked the US to send troops and equipment to defend them from Saddam's Iraq.this enrage Muslims because Americans were on holy land.guess its OK if Saddam had taken it then! |

Is there an answer to this?
How is it murder when the police use deadly force to subdue the criminal? It is not - you cannot assert that it is. To do so is illogical. |

Mockba, what do you mean by 'your beliefs'? Are you saying that Saddam Hussein and his regime did not violate 16 UN resolutions for over a decade? Do you not agree that SH's invasion of Kuwait was an illegal aggressive war? Do you not agree that Saddam Hussein was a mass murderer: http://www.massgraves.info/ What does any of this have to do with 'my beliefs' or whether, ostensibly Americans were attacked by Iraq. Hussein and by default Iraq under him was a pariah in the civlized world - do you disagree - if so, please state your reasons and what you would have done about him. |

The subheading of this site reads: "Civilians reported killed by military intervention in Iraq" Which military intervention are they speaking of? Are they distinguishing those killed by the MNF and those killed by Zarqawi and the suicide/homicide bombers? Don't they think such a distinction is important? Furthermore, if they're really into aggregated numbers - what about comparing the current numbers with the numbers of people that Saddam Hussein killed in an average year...And will they add in the number of civilians killed by lack of medical attention because SH was starving his people of basic necessities to feed him army and snub the international community? Thanks - would appreciate any clarifications along these lines.. |
