As'Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Irrespective of fasting / not fasting, Islam does n't allow to meet fiance when they are ALONE. They are still non-mahrams to each other. There is a hadith wherein Prophet sallal lahu alahy wasallam said, No man is alone with a (non-mahram) woman but the Shaytaan is the third one present. I remember reading that it is permissible to meet in presence of guardian or other mahrams of her , such as brother, father --. "Public place --- " , people around her are also non-mahram to her na. |

Salaam, A family member is engaged (though I know there no engagement concept in Islam), and was wondering if it was permissible for her to see her fiance while fasting, or does this void their respective fasts? There will be no physical contact, and they would meet in a public place.
