What do you mean by "quran wont go down their throat"?.
Does it refer to those who recite the Qur'an without understanding its meaning?
What criteria?
Who is the 'Shaikh' under reference?

[QUOTE=Honzo].........a bibliography............a good overview for those who are
interested in mainstream and orthodox views of the subjects discussed.......... .[QUOTE]
Mainstream is a term generally used to mean that which is ordinary or usual with familiar appeal to the masses. I suppose by orthodox views you mean those views which are conforming to established religious doctrine derived from the Qur'aan and the Sunnnah. And why would anyone waste his/her time reading the views of those writers rather than read and follow the established doctrines. |
