I'd vote for Steven (as NewtoAllah's new user name) . . . its short, and its his name - so would be nicer to communicate that way.

By the way Brother Steven, you share a name with another convert, a famous one ; Cat Stevens - now known as Yusuf Islam. Maybe you should google him up and read about him

As, Sister Chrysallis said, you need not fret about your name. If a name has got wrong meaning or meaningless, or if it implies any other Gods, or associates of Gods, then it is to be changed. I don't think "Stevens" is a wrong name. If you wish you can change, else this is better.

. You know, we are never new to Allah swt. Irrespective of we been sinners, or belonging to any religion, Allah is for all of us. May be we out of forgetfulness or ignorance and being astray do not recognise Allah swt as our God, but Allah swt is Merciful to all of us. He loves us many times more than a mother. So may be Allah swt is new to us but not we are new to Allah swt

	Steven sound good to me, it's short. But in the internet world virtual name is preferable than the real name - for the unknown people out there. Cyber name that is easy to pronounce and easy to remember. Than you can leave your real name at the bottom of your post if you like, just like what you are doing now.
