As the market is fully developed, investors are still demanding a very high liquidity contract premium.Typically in Islamic banking, mortgage financing is based on the principle of the profit margin on top cost of ownership, by mutual agreement of the Bank and the Borrower. This type of financing is usually done under the Murabaha contract.

Muslims must work within the existing banking system and the change from within. But we tried this for over 40 years and nothing has changed. We are still determining the financial performance in advance using the Islamic contract triple.

Islamic bank failure list? If the bank is Islamic it is not supposed to fail cuz the speculative practices of the current meltdown like sub prime loans and its derivatives with credit swaps (almost like playing black jack in a casino) are not permitted under sharia! It was no credit crunch rather there was a well thought out scheme by the Zionist Wall Street investment houses to offer too much credit for speculation on American real estate till this pyramid scheme went bust...People on the inside made billions and on the tail end were left holding the bag...the copy cats in places like Dubai went bonkers in this mad race to nowhere fast but as abuayisha said they didn't follow sharia so they got what was coming to them...brink of bankruptcy...schadenfreude for their detractors! Here are the general guidelines for the sharia bank and how it works... http://www.bankinginfo.com.my/_system/media/downloadables/islamic_banking.pdf Edited by Sign*Reader - 06 April 2010 at 12:38am |
