   I encourage people to e-mail the Iranian Embassy urging clemency for the widow Ashtiani. She is sentenced to be stoned to death for adultery. The government's version of her case has changed several times. And there are allegations of torture being used to exact her confession. One does not have to condone adultery to oppose an execution like this.
