i fully agree with you on collective responsibility point, one man can not misguide millions
The whole world is like Hazrat Umar but no one is like his sister and brother in law.

Assalamu alaikum.

The Imam according to al-Jazeera television in his sermon accused their ousted leader of misguiding the Muslims and that he will be punished by Allah.
The question is how can one man misguide millions? Did that Imam and the rest of them in Tunisia ever delivered a sermon on how to choose a Muslim leader? What did the Muslims do?
Let us judge before the Day of Judgment for Allah in the holy Qur'an chapter 37:27-34 says: "And they will turn to one other and question one another. they will say: "It is you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us that is authority]." They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. And we had no quthority over you. Nay! But you were Taghun (transgressing) people. So now the Word of your Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray. Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share the torment."
There are also other verses in the Qur'an on collective responsibility and punishment.
Now with reference to Islamipeace on Friday sermon, how long will they persist in committing this sin again, and how is Allah going to forgive them? Let us go back to history and fear Allah. Committing a sin delibarately is against the Sunna of Allah and that of the holy Apostle.
