Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem

assalamu alaikum

This program has Quran in arabic as it is recited so you can read and listen at the same time.
Rasul Allah (sallah llahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord" and whoever knows his Lord has been given His gnosis and nearness.

Thank you very much Mockba.

That's exactly what I was looking for!  Honestly, I have been feeling overwhelmed by my desire to learn Arabic completely so I can read the Qur'an.  I was feeling disappointed that it might be beyond me.  This website kind of meets me half-way in regards to that goal.

Thanks so much for sharing it!

Bismillah

Wa'alaikumu Salaam

This Dictionary may assist you in reading the Quran in Arabic with better understanding of its meaning. Since it is only a dictionary you may want to continue referring to known translations of the Quran while using it. There are also some brief and simplified chapters on Arabic grammar that you may also find useful.

Salaamu Alaikum,

I want to learn Arabic so I can properly read the Holy Qur'an.  However, I feel this is a very daunting task.

Has anyone in this forum ever attempted to teach his or herself Arabic?

What is the best method for someone who can dedicate an hour or two each day?

Are there good materials online for free?  Like lessons and dictionaries?

Are there any really good books out there?

Thanks so much for your imput.
