Salam,
As far as I know the marriage is meet the shariah requirement. So your marriage is valid and halal. However if you want be a good citizen of the country ideally you should legalized by both Islam and government. If you can do so will be the best. Edited by semar - 07 May 2012 at 11:30pm |

I am married to an arabic man and I don't know if my marriage is halal or haram. we are already married only in papers but it is not yet registered with the goverment but with the marriage contract that we made it is written in full conditions like the registered one and we have two muslim man as a witness. Our parents knows it and the only missing part of our marriage is to legalize it so now I am confused if is haram or halal. Can you please help my troubled mind...
