You're definitely on the right track AhmadJoyia (as you always are ). The Masjid-al-aqsa refers to the site rather than a defined structure, so the Dome of the Rock is part of the sacred enclosure. Am I on the right track?

Whats the point brother for this topic? Let me guess with these remarks. Masjid-al-Aqsa was built in the time of Hz Umar and hence is just like any other mosque in the world; may it be in Kashmir, Afghanistan or for that matter in Turkey etc. Isn't it? So the verse in the Quran refers, more probably to the area enclosing the dome of the rock alone and not the mosque, simply because it wasn't there at the time of revelations of the verses of Quran. Am I on the right track?? |
