It is wrong. This is not Zinna because there is not sex inviolved. It is selling of one's bodily fluids and you can't sell body parts. It is an anti-family normalized by the liberal mainstream which completely undermines the importance of the nuclear family. It's wrong to sell your blood or plasma. You can donate your blood to the Red Cross though if you feel so obliged to do so. You should seek another solution to your problem. Edited by MayPB |

Why not just sell your blood and plasma instead? When he gets older, then he is going to be driven crazy that he may have several children out there that he will NEVER get to meet and will never know him. Also, the child will never get to open the record and find out his biological parent. I think this is most cruel.

salam. 1st of all, giving away sperm to get some money is not donating, it's selling. 2nd, he's selling his sperms for the purpose of potentially impregnanting a complete stranger, with his own child. if this child was born to existence, as the biological father he still has his duties & responsibilities to this child. if not, it will be as if he just sold his child to a total stranger, wouldn't it? so think about it. just a simple thought. will he be able to play the duty of the father to this child. or is he supposed to just get paid, while his biological child was born to a complete stranger. to my personal view, his sperm is not a commodity. so don't treat it like one. wallahu 'alam. |

Henna dont jump to conclusions! First off if sperm is denoted it is not sexual intercourse if the sperm is denoted from another donor (only if the husband cannot produce adequate sperm ton impreganate the woman). Although there are women who are using the method of invetrofertilization. I think this is a battle of interpretation. Many of you call this zina but there is no evidence here only subjective reasoning. If the husband cannot get his wife pregnant what does he do? His method of choice would be to adopt of course but what if the family does not choose that? There is also another method where (I dont know the medical term for it) where if there is something wrong with the woman's life cycle where she cannot get pregnant by conventional sexual intercourse that the husband actually "donates" his sperm where its injected in the woman (I believe this is invetrofertilization I might be wrong on this one!). Again this is a battle of interpretation folks |
