As-Salaam alaikum,
I wish to share with you, the following quotes for your perusal. I hope you will find them useful for refining our worship of Allah, Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala.

 (A) "Our principles of life are six, namely:--
 (1) The Kitaab of Allah [Qur'an]
 (2) The Sunnah of Rasulullah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam
 (3) Halal food
 (4) Abstention from inconveniencing others even if they inconvenience us
 (5) Remaining far from prohibitions
 (6) Making haste in fulfilling the rights of all and everything."
                                                            Haatim Asam

  (B) "A person is not a sincere repenter as long as there is no remorse in his heart, no Instighfar on his tongue, and as long as he does not abandon sins, and as long as he does not strive in Ibaadat [worship]. Only then will he be a sincere repenter."
                                                        Sheikh Ahmad Hawaari

 (C) "Happy is he who wakes up in the morning and Ibadaat is his occupation, solitude is his abode, the Aakhirat is his focus, death (maut) is his concern and with Taubah he hopes for the Mercy of Allah."- Sheikh Mansur Ammar

 (D) "The balm for the heart is in:
 (1) Companionship with the Saliheen
 (2) Tilawaat of the Qur'an abundantly
 (3) An empty stomach
 (4) Sallat during the night (Tahajjud) and
 (5) Weeping in the late hours of the night-as a result of khauf".
                                                            Sheikh Ahmad Aasim
                                                            al-Antaaki.
