The Quran clearly emphasizes the importance of avoiding anything that leads to disobedience to Allah or distracts from the remembrance of Allah. The verse you mentioned highlights the importance of not following the whispers of shaytan and staying true to the path of righteousness. Nasheeds are an alternative to music, as listening to music is haram. Nasheeds are vocal Islamic songs that typically focus on themes such as praising Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), or conveying moral and spiritual messages. They are intended to uplift and inspire listeners while promoting Islamic values and virtues. As muslims, we should prefer to listen to nasheeds as a way to enjoy music-like entertainment without compromising our religious principles. They offered a culturally rich and spiritually uplifting form of expression that aligns with Islamic values and principles.

Do you think music is haram?
"Persuade whoever you can among them with your enchanting voice, win them over with your soldiers on horseback and on foot, share in their wealth and children and make promises; the promises of the Satan are only deceptions. But you will have no power and influence over My true servants, Your Lord will be their true Guardian.” [Quran 17:64-65] |
