The concept of predestination (qadar) and free will coexist. While Allah has knowledge of all things, including the ultimate destination of individuals in the Hereafter, He has also granted human beings free will to choose their actions. The purpose of tests of life is not to determine the outcome but to provide individuals with the opportunity to demonstrate their faith, sincerity, and obedience to Allah. Despite Allah's knowledge of the future, human beings are endowed with free will, enabling them to make choices and decisions. They have the ability to act in accordance with Allah's guidance or deviate from it through disobedience and sin. Additionally, Allah's mercy and justice are integral aspects of His divine attributes. While Allah has the power to predestine individuals, His mercy encompasses granting opportunities for repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. His justice ensures that individuals are recompensed fairly for their deeds.
