Alaikoam Salam

Interesting point, I think you are right about the use of food to quell many issues.

I agree education has to be one of the biggest issues because if people had education and government and corporations shared the wealth a little better then there would be less poverty.

Though we may debate whether there would be less health issues but hopefully so.

Nice to hear from you.

Salaam Alaikum,

Is it a lack of education?

The answer is yes and this is the mother of one of the major problems in the Muslims countries. The leaders are in their sweet slumber.

Prophet changed an entire "brood of vipers" into the best people within a span of twenty-three years but each Muslim leader of his/her own generation did nothing.

Best Regards

[017:079]  And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory!

Salam Alaikoam

Our Station is to be Peace Keepers and Gaurdians of the Peace.

Allah did not create us to be war mongers, he created us to know and love Him in ourselves and others and all creation.

Why is it then that some people instead of bringing all the share holders to the table take matters in their own hands and choose to do acts of violence and injustice?

Is it ignorance or evil mindedness?

Everyday we may have negative thoughts however most of us never act on these ill willed ideas.

Why is it some people do?

Is it a lack of education?

Is it a lack of counseling?

Is it a lack of consultation skills?

Is it ignorance of healthier better ways of coping or dealing with the situation?

Is prayer alone enough to keep us on the right path?

Anne Marie
