Salam Alaikoam

Peace will come when Humanity strives in the first level and most important level of Jihad (The word Jihad means struggle and the first and most important level is the struggle we have with ourselves in becoming great and wonderful people.)

When we have a Great sorting out of people into Groups to see what we have done good and what we have not done so good at. (Surah 99, 1-8 Yusuf Ali Translation )

Humanity has to a degree done some of this sorting out however there needs to be more of it and in these self help, education, training and counseling groups people need to learn skills such as good communications skills, effective conflict resolution skills, parenting skills, relationship skills, how to cope with stress and frustrations as well as anger managment skills.

This sorting into groups could also include training and education in skills for employment and give people with the tools they need to be able to provide for themselves and their families that gives everyone grace and dignity.

The world has not waited for an earth shattering event they are sorting into groups already however they need to put more focus on teaching the skills I mentioned above.

People are living lives without some of the tools some of us take for granted and this lapse in our societies is what is creating some of the grief we have seen with family violence, drug and alcohol abuse as well as crisis in parenting skills and relationship skills.

There is hope and we are that hope.

If you are a person who has been abused or been abusive then you need to recieve debriefing and education and training to turn your life around.

May Allah guide Communities and Nations to set in place the community infra structure and agencies that can guide us in the skills I mentioned and may they strive at making them affordable and accessible to all.  May Allah encourage us all to seek out good counseling and to consult community professionals trained with our type of challenge to learn new ways of doing and being.

May Allah guide those of us who feel we may be unteachable or those of us who even though we know we are doing wrong to seek counseling also.

May Allah provide excellent counselors, educators and trainers to everyone who goes seeking assistance in turning our lives around.

May Allah bless us for our efforts and our willingness to get the skills we need to be happier, healthier better people.

May Allah give patience to those who have been blessed with good conduct and behavior with those of us learning how to be better people.
