MY MUSLIM BROTHER AND SISTER IN THE WORLD PLS TELL ME WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TO STOP THIS BECAUSE I DONT WANT THEM TO RULE OVER NIGERIA BECAUSE AM FROM NIGERIA AND AM A REAL MUSLIM

Bismillah,

I agree with Sister Jenni and Brother Peacemaker -- correcting the errors of Muslims in the area will yield results in time.

I strongly disagree with Foody for damning these converts to hell.  Firstly, only Allah, The Beneficient know this answer.  Secondly, I remembering reading in hadith that when people are forced to convert because their lives are threatened (and starvation is a threat to your life!) then they are blameless.

Peace

Bismillah irrahman irrahim

Assalamu alaikum

i agree with brother peacemaker that we need to get educated in deen and dunya but i dont know there is still things missing, cos iv seen people who have knowledge but they choose not to follow it, i think we need to educate our women in religious matters, i say this due to a hadith which states that Sayyidina Muhammad (saw) said that he love two worldly things perfume and women. scholars said reason why he (saw) said women is because when a woman has knowledge of her Lord, she is more submissive, a woman is naturally more humble and Allah swt has given her more endurance. now this piety and taqwa she could some how inject in her kids and thats what we need, the sense of our Lord watching us all the time and do good by Him cos if we good in His books then inshaAllah we are good anywhere.

wassalam

Assalamu Alaikum!

What can we do to preach Islam? I would say that seek and provide best possible education to the people. Remember, the first word that was revealed in Qur'an-Iqra ( Read ).

Proper education should combine Islam, Sciences, languages etc etc.

It would take time, but gradually things will become much better, insha Allah,  later on.

Peace

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Asalaamu Alaikum:

Ah is it the influx of such organizations as Save the Children or Christian Children's Fund? I did not realize the price to partake of these services was to "convert". Sham organizations that will have to answer to Allah (swt) for what they do! That is charity for the price of your allegiance!

"Every good deed is charity whether you come to your brother's assistance or just greet him with a smile.

How about improving education and the lives of women and children??? It seems to me Nigeria does not have a good record. Until then the christians are doing a better job and will attract more and more converts. Muslims need to show thier loving and compassionate side, and they are not doing that well at it!
You cant be a good muslim if you are not decent and have a cold heart. Be a decent and kind person and care for women and children and the elderly.

Al Salamu Alayku Wa Rahmatu Allahi Wa Barakatuh,

Dear brother,
i think it is time for you to read alot about Islam. make sure you educate
yourself really well and then speak to those converted people. this is very
good ground for daawa. put as much effort as the people who convert
others do. actually put more. always be on their tail like white on eggs. these
guys might have the money to convert people, but you have Allah. who
knows...you might be the first to start a new reviving movement for Islam in
Nigeria. just always remember to never offend anyone even if they offend
you.

Assalamoalaikum,

Quazilukman, as of now its bit late. Look instead of pointing at others first we need to check ourselves. At first i would like to thank u and may Allah {swt} reward u as u sensed u r responsibility of preaching Islam.  IF OUR FAITH IN ISLAM IS STRONGER THEN NO FINANCIAL ASPECTS SHUD ATTRACT US. So our first priority shud be to revive the faith of remaining muslims. Its best possible by recitation of  Quran, its understanding thru various tafseers at the same time conveying them to those muslims in u r regional language. It would be better if u accomplish this act  along with u r friends or relatives.

WE DON'T NEED ANY FINANCIAL POWER TO ATTRACT ANYONE. What we are doing here is we as a muslim are performing our responsibilty as we are accountable on the day of judgement.

Last month, a lady from a far off neighbourhood happen to visit us. She complained that her son was being changed into christianity and she could know of this when she recieved a cheque of abt 50,000 rs of indian currency. First thing i advised him was to send him along with a jamaat of atleast 3 days and alhamdulliah he is a true muslim now. What i say is its our weak imaan {faith} which gets attracted towards such. Anyways keep updating us about u r dawah activity and i once again thank u and wish may Allah {swt} reward u and ease u r path. Ameen
