Allah simply means "The Gd" I suspect your sources for research are part of the usual recycled polemics.
Equivocational problem. |

The G*d of Abraham and Moses was a harsh master. For instance, Moses asked Pharo to let 'his people go'. Pharo said no. So. Did G*d give Pharo a bad case of jock itch? Perhaps a day or two of dysentary? NO! Instead, eventually, he killed off all the first born animals and humans in all of Egypt [except those who were Passed Over] by painted blood. IMHO, an early version of Professional Curtosy. Pharo claimed divinity. As a result, apparently, G*d spared him even a case of 'the runs' while his people suffered plaque upon plaque. Sort of like the legal profession today... |

You mean Ilah and Al-Ilah?
Jealous is just a character of dislike with association, or shirk. Edited by superme |

Al-Lah is "The God" in Arabic. Lah is the word for God. Al is the. Al Kitab is The Book. Where are you getting your research? |

I do not understand why the Qur'an uses the word "God" and "Allah." My research shows "Allah" to be the name of a pagan god during the time of Muhammad's youth in that area. God of Abraham is a jealous God, I wonder whether God would want to be connected with anything paganistic.
