walaikumussalam you should accomplish few things before making a pryar 1- have full belief (yaqeen) that only Allah has the power to fulfill your needs and no one else has this power. 2- have full belief that Allah surely listens to us and Allah will grant you your desire if it is in your true benefit. many times we think that something is good for us but in reality and in long term it is not good. only Allah is All kowing. 3- have full belief that if your prayer is not answered in this world then surely you will get the reward of this prayer in hereafter and the reward of hereafter is much better than that of this world. after having all the three of above make a nafal prayer and ask for your desire from Allah in your own words. and Allah knows the best. may Allah give you the best of this world and the hereafter. wassalam |

Salaam Alakium, Say you want something, i.e do good in school, have a certain desire, legitimate of course to come true, what dua, surah or anything can you read? Is reading extra nafil a good means for asking Allah for something?
Thanks a bunch in Advance. |
