Just wanted to point out what a gr8 idea this thread was! Because I just found out I had a misconception about Hadith Qudsi. I used to think that they were also Allah's verbatim words. . . but turns out they were not exact words of Allah, but in Prophet Muhammad's own words. So, JazakAllah.
 
And I must say. . .I have no clue about this question! Though it greatly interests me. . . I shall try to look it up. Can't wait for the correct answer.
 
PS: I have read in places that Prophet Muhammad is said to have resembled Prophet Yusuf. . .is that true?

AM sorry brothers and sisters, for making you search so much.  Even i had been searching over net. The answer is Abdullah Ibn Jarrir RA, He was called second Yusuf by Umar RA. InshaAllah, this Sunday, when i shall be again there, i shall lift that book first and share that paragraph. As i said, i cud not complete that reading, as the lecture staretd.

What are seven destructive sins, described in hadiths ?
 
Woodstock , Chrysallis or sis Sakeenah, even you all can question . Brother Hamzah, take your own time, but we shall surely miss your presence.

The seven destructive sins are:
 
Idolatry; sorcery (magic); killing a person declared inviolable by God, except for a just reason; profiteering; consuming the property of an orphan; turning back when it is time to advance (in times of war); and defaming/accusing chaste believing women .

Can somebody pl explain to me the above 2 sins? I do not undertsand. Also, what is meant by Profiteering? Earning of Profit? Why is that a sin?
