"Unjust" according to your personal opinion NOT God's opinion!!
Isaiah 55:8-9
"For the thoughts of YOU people are not my thoughts, nor are my ways YOUR ways," is the utterance of Jehovah. 9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than YOUR ways, and my thoughts than YOUR thoughts.
Proverbs 16:25
There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward.
Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is upright in his own eyes, but Jehovah is making an estimate of hearts.
Hosea 14:9
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Discreet, that he may know them? For the ways of Jehovah are upright, and the righteous are the ones who will walk in them; but the transgressors are the ones who will stumble in them.
Robin,
so according to God's standards in the Bible godly people are ordered as a good work to kill little babies and children, kill goats and donkeys and other animals, and to destroy crops and fields, even cities.
And to go into a harlot?
All your Biblical quotes (Proverbs 16:25, 21:2, Hosea 14:9) are in line with my belief and teachings of the Quran.
If God orders the death of Devil worshipers it is his right and power (Devil worship is an abuse of the gift of life from God, abuse it and loose it) to do so as they reap what they sow. to whit, false worship leads to death, so they recive that they deserve. They can change, most did not and paid the price for them and thier offspring, of which God had warned |

They suffered because of the stubbornness of the parents, as I have said all actions by humans will have consequences, them, you, me!! They brought badness on their own people(s) and nation(s)! They stood against Allah and lost!

Robin,
God is not wrong, its the people who make mistakes and sometimes are wrong.
I am not satisfied with your drag of the matter. I am not convinced that God would order His righteous people to disrespect life, by killing little children and babies, livestock, and to destroy cropfields, because their parents and owners were involved in sin, plus it would contradict the Bible, as it is said that God does not punish children for parents mistakes.
Remember you base your argument in the same book that says that God does not punish children for their parents mistakes, yet at another location in the same book God is quoted to have said that He punishes children to third and fourth generations for the bad acts of their parents.
I believe in a Just God, who does not order His righteous servants, to go on a killing rampage, killing innocent children and animals and destroying food crops, nor He contradicts His word.

Robin,
sometimes its not easy for us to figure out things when conducting justice because of our limitations. But I beleive that there is nothing hidden or difficult for the Knower and Creator of all, The Just and Sovereign God.
4:40 Verily, God does not wrong [anyone] by as much as an atom's weight; and if there be a good deed, He will multiply it, and will bestow out of His grace a mighty reward.
God will Judge between us all, and after the Judgement by Him, we will be where we belong. We are told in the Final Testament:
The Quran: 2:112 Yea, indeed: everyone who surrenders his whole being unto God, and is a doer of good shall have his reward with his Sustainer; and all such need have no fear, and neither shall they grieve.

It is again a meaningful understanding of the bible and a misled understanding of the bible. Whatever is written there is correct. Only one has to take out the correct meaning.
Allah does not kill the children upto the fourth generation. The meaning is that God is a jealous God and he punishes the children upto the fourth generation for the sins of their parents. That is true, as follows:
Take the case of biased, prejudiced people who are bent upon hiding the truth. They are committing a sin. Their children will not be guided due to the ignorance and bad behaviour of their parents. So the children will remain ignorant and as such they will suffer upto many generations. They will spend their life in idle beliefs, being far away from the mercy of God Almighty. Is that not enough punishment? Edited by minuteman - 30 June 2008 at 10:58pm |
