Walaikum Salam wa Rahmatullah,
The first meal of the people of Paradise will be the caudate lobe of the liver of fish. This was one of the answers of Prophet Muhammad { Sallal lahu alaihi wa sallam}, to the questions of Abdullah bin Salam RA, who was a jew in Medinah. He embraced Islam, when Prophet answered him all the questions, by the revelation. Abdullah bin Salam was then contended that Muhammad {Sallal lahu alaihi wa sallam} was indeed a true Prophet who was Prophecised in his book.

Next Question
Commander of the faithful, Umar RA, was attacked while he was leading Fajr prayers. When he felt his death was near, he chose six of the Companions and entrusted them with the choice of the new caliph. The Caliph of the Muslims was the one who led the prayers. In those days following the death of the Commander of the Faithful until the new caliph was chosen, who was to lead the Muslims in prayer? `Umar would slow down a thousand times before choosing someone especially in these moments, while his pure soul was passing away to meet Allah. Finally, he chose one of the companions of Prophet. Who was he ?
Jazakumullahu khayr members for attempting to answer. Sister Nazz welcome to our discussions. Keep answering and attempting the questions. It helps us to increase our knowledge.
Hope all our old members too join us soon.

Here's the answer
It was Suhiab Ibn Sinan RA, who was chosen to lead prayers, inspite of his roman accent.
