It is known from textual evidence that angels came concerning Ibrahim and Prophet Muhammad, however my questions was specific to Jibreel "sometimes appeared as Wahia Kalbi RA" - what textual evidence supports this claim?

As Salamu Alaikum brother,

JazakAllah for the question. This shall alert me to present my answers with its sources.

Bro, i made a search at Islam-qa. and also seeked answer for your question from a brother. He said no one he heard trustworthy people say that and that no one argues about it. Anyways, i feel the answer from Islam-qa shall get your question answered

Angels also came to Ibraaheem in human form, and he did not know that they were angels until they told him so. Similarly, angels came to Lut in the form of young men with beautiful faces. Jibreel used to come to the Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) in different forms: sometimes he would appear in the form of Dihyah al-Kalbi, a Sahaabee who was very handsome, and sometimes in the form of a Bedouin.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: All the descendants of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

One who buys a girl slave, brings her up and teaches her, then frees her and marries her; he is twice rewarded

One from the people of the scripture who believes in his prophet and then believes in Prophet Muhammad (pbuh); is twice rewarded

A slave who fulfills obligations to Allah, Most High, and carries out his duties towards his master; is twice rewarded
