A symbol of Islam is the Moon.
So Moslems, you have a problem, a big problem. So now to God's own angel-man cubit at 42.5 inches. Yes, 42.5 inches, but here on Earth the Ark of the Covenant using Pi, meaning that 42.5 inches cubed and divided by Pi is an Earthly God's angel man cubit of 29.0183 inches, so a volume for the Ark of the Covenant of 79.54185 cubic feet. Anyway, a new book says the Moon could be 'God' made. I say the Moon is to ensure the Earth is 'God's jewel in his crown'. So the reference for the LAMB of God is 1288 and from 2:30am on January 1. 6BC when the Holy Ghost came upon Mary and the gestation period of 273 days began so Jesus Christ was born at 2:30am on October 1, 6BC until the death of Jesus at 3:03pm Friday, April 7, AD30 is 12,880 days. And one quarter of 12,880,000 angel man cubits x 42.5 inches is the Moon's diameter of 2,159.880 miles or 3,475.99km (usually given as 3,476km). Thus see the Moon, see the symbol of the LAMB of God, and the LAMB represents 'FAITH'. Title: Who Built the Moon? Author: Christopher KnightAlan Butler ISBN: 1842931326 EAN: 9781842931325 272 Pages Publisher: Watkins Publishing Limited Binding: Hardcover Publication date: 2005-08-15 Description: Scientifically speaking, the moon should not exist. It doesnt obey the rules of astrophysics and no theory of its origin explains the known facts. While studying the ancient system of geometry and measurement they researched and wrote about in their previous book, Civilization One, the authors discovered that the system also works perfectly on the Moon. They found a consistent sequence of integer numbers when looking at every major aspect of the Moon. No such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. They also discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core in fact, many specialists suspect that the Moon is hollow, which should not be possible. The authors argue persuasively that if higher life only developed on Earth because the Moon is exactly what it is and where it is, it becomes unreasonable to cling to the idea that the Moon is a natural object an idea with profound implications. Excerpt: From Introduction: For most people the suggestion that the Moon could be artificial is about as sensible as saying that it made of green cheese. This is a perfectly reasonable response based on everything that we know about the world we live in, where there are just two kinds of objects: Those that are here because the random forces of the universe, that we call nature caused them to exist or because they were manufactured by human hand. However super-rational our scientific community believes it is there are still huge numbers of people who have beliefs that cannot be proven by academic means. In a recent poll it was found that no less than 92% of Americans say they believe in God - and other surveys indicate that many millions of people are equally convinced that aliens have visited our planet. God may well exist, and so too might aliens for all we know, but this book will only concern itself with hard, scientific facts. And unlike so many of those trapped in the politically correct world of academia our published findings will not be constrained by the demands of current convention. The information we put forward here is clear, testable and, we believe, irrefutable. Despite the fact that the Moon is almost certainly 4.6 billion years old we will demonstrate beyond all reasonable doubt that Earths Moon cannot be a natural object. And then we shall explain in detail how its manufacturer left a detailed message of what had been done and for whom. So, here is our challenge. Put aside your natural incredulity and read this book with an open mind, check out the evidence then ask yourself who built the Moon? We have sited three possibilities but maybe you can think of more. However, the last of our possibilities appears to us to be increasingly likely. It is a worrying, staggering, exciting and completely awesome concept. And, if there is even an outside chance that this could be the answer, the world has a major new challenge ahead of it. http://www.pgw.com/catalog/search.asp?ISBN=1842931636 |

Very good question.
Maybe its because the cresent Moon is seen on the Dome of the Rock shrine. So I stand corrected. JohnDM |

In the name of God, the merciful, compasisonate To dispel a myth I want to say that the crescent moon is not a symbol of Islam, but in fact pre-dates the revival of Islam in Arabia. The moon (or the crescent) was a symbol for various empires and cultures and in the time of the spread of Islam was the flag for the Byzantine. When the Ottoman Turks came and took Constantinople (circa 1453) the Turks adopted the present Byzantinian flag. In one case it was said that Osman the founder of the Ottonman Turks dreamt of the crescent spreading across the planet perhaps as his destiny for his rule of the world. Some have speculated that the five points of the crscent represents the five pillars of Islam, but this is perhaps speculative. The flag and its history is nothing more than a pagan idol allocated to Islam. It even has some pagan link to it as the crescent moon and star was related to the Carthaginian goddess diana. Islam in reality has no symbol but if there were ever to be a symbol of Islam it would be the Saudi Flag which says: la illaha il'lla Muhammadun Rasul'ullah which means:There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet. |
