So I just wanted to inform you all that I am no longer a non-Muslim!
I went to the Mosque today and met with Imam Galal who was visiting from Egypt, as well as some wonderful women who I've met over the last few days. I did the Shahadah!
I still have tons to learn and I feel a bit unprepared but ishallah I will catch up in no time!

That is such lovely news! I've been following your 30-days with Hijab story and it's so nice that through that "experiment" you found Islam! It might be difficult...especially with family, friends etc who might not understand. Take it easy.You've already identified a masjid, some nice women who you can relate to etc. May Allah guide you and give you patience. |
