I was born and raised a Christian and went from denomination to denomination and never felt complete.
I went to a Catholic university and met a Muslimah who was basically ignored by everyone else. I started to study Islam and it clicked. I walked into a masjid before I was Muslim and everyone greeted me and hugged me like we had known each other for years. Walking into a church, I felt judged and I didn't belong. I have been happily Muslim for 3 years now and I couldn't imagine my life any other way! |

As-salaam alaikum sister. It is so wonderful to hear of your journey to Islam! May Allah (swt) reward you amply and strengthen your faith!
I was wondering if you would be interested in writing a brief account of your journey to Islam. I have a blog where I discuss the Bible and the Quran and I have been looking to add people's personal stories as a new feature. I have asked a friend of mine who also reverted a few years ago to write his story. My hope is to post these stories on the blog and keep adding more as they come. You can provide as much or as little detail as possible. Let me know if you are interested. |
